Warangal/Bhupalpally: The government totally failed to utilise the resources available in the State, Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) founder Prof Kodandaram said.

Addressing the party activists on Sunday, he criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his lackadaisical approach in making use of the Central government’s projects such as Tribal University and Periodical Over-hauling (POH) unit in the erstwhile district of Warangal. “TJS will continue its fight against the TRS government, which failed to fulfil its poll promises,” he said.

Later speaking at Bhupalpally, he said that illegal sand transportation from the Godavari sand reaches is rampant. The sand mafia, which has the support of the government, is making hay, he alleged.

Referring to the ‘Palle Nidra’ programme of Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, Kodandaram criticised him for not addressing the problems faced by the people in his constituency. “Even though the Agency is reeling under communicable diseases, the government is little bothered about it,” he said, demanding the authorities to provide healthcare facilities to the tribal communities.

He also found fault with the government for its failure to carry the corrections in the pattadar passbooks. Prof Kodandaram said that TJS is organising Rythu Deeksha in front of all Collectorates in the State on Monday.
