Haritha Haram is key for growth

Warangal: Haritha Haram is one of the key components in the government’ endeavour towards Bangaru Telangana, Commissioner of Police V Ravinder said, participating in the plantation drive at Pathipaka under Shayampet mandal in Warangal Rural district on Tuesday. As many as 1,000 saplings have been planted on the occasion by the locals.

The Commissioner said that onus is on everybody to increase the forest cover in the State which drastically fell to 18 per cent from desired 33 per cent. East zone DCP Venkatshwarlu, RDO Mahenderji, ACPs Sudheendra, Sunitha Mohan and Shobhan Kumar were among others present.
