Hold your tongue, Talasani Srinivas Yadav tells AP netas
Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday said that the Andhra Pradesh leaders who are seeking support from the neighbouring States on Special Category Status should act responsibly.
The Minister along with MLAs V Srinivas Goud, K P Vivekanand, and MLC Shambhipur Raju addressed a press conference here on Tuesday. The Minister said that the Andhra Pradesh leaders should be responsible with their comments. He objected to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s remarks stating that he had developed Hyderabad.
The Minister alleged that both the national parties Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were trying to crush the regional parties. He said that both parties ruled for 70 years and still there are thousands of villages in the country where there is no power. These two parties are a threat to the country. He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had brought forward the Federal Front of non-Congress and non-BJP parties for taking up development activities.
Yadav said that the Congress was once again trying to conspire against Telangana. He said that the Congress leaders provided national project for Andhra Pradesh in AP Reorganisation Act and nothing for Telangana. “Now they have passed a resolution in Congress Working Committee (CWC) of providing Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh if voted to power. The Congress leaders from Telangana should have lodged protest on this,” Srinivas Yadav added.
MLA Srinivas Goud questioned whether the Congress leaders sought similar status to Telangana during the last two days. He asked who should get the special status the people who have been deceived or the people who have deceived. The Congress leaders have always ignored Telangana, he alleged. He also lashed out at the BJP leaders for including seven mandals of Telangana into Andhra Pradesh.
