KDCC bank ranked 3rd best Coop bank in country
Karimnagar: Out of 371 district cooperative banks present across the country, Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (KDCC) was selected as the third best bank for the year 2016-17, informed KDCC bank president Konduri Ravinder Rao.
The 97th general body meeting of KDCC bank was held with the representatives of 62 branches present across the district in Karimnagar on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Ravinder Rao said that with the efforts of chief executive officer and staff of the bank and ruling body of the cooperative society, the KDCC bank received third prize from the hands of NABARD Divisional Managing Director for the year 2016-17.
Out of 127 societies present under 62 branches, 100 per cent of amount is recovered from the members of 69 societies for the loans sanctioned to them and the bank is in top position by recovering 98 per cent of loans. There is need for further improvement and development, he advised.
Attending as a chief guest at the meeting, District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad said that many cooperatives banks across the country are struck under the pressure exerted by political parties and are unable to discharge 100 per cent services to the people. But the KDCC bank, unlike any other cooperative bank, has been providing better services and receiving appreciations, he added.
Chief executive officer N Satyanarayana, KDCC bank vice-president V Mohan Reddy, DCMS president M Surendar Reddy, district cooperative officer Manoj Kumar, Jagtial district library president K Chandrashekar Rao, NABARD DDM Ananth and KDCC bank general manager M Ravinder Reddy were present along with others.
