OU signs MoU with HireMee to increase students’ employability

Osmania University has entered into an Memorandum of Understanding with M/S. HireMee Pvt. Ltd. as a student support initiative.

Prof. V. Usha Kiran, Director, Directorate of Placement Services, OU explained that it is a free recruitment and assessment platform where the students are assessed on seven digit score i. e.  verbal, logical, quantitative aptitude, psychometrics, communication skills, core subjects and technical programming. Through this students are connected to the employers and the job opportunities are enhanced for the students as it provides connection between students and employers.

Speaking on this occasion, Prof. S. Ramachandram, Vice-Chancellor called on the students to utilize the platform effectively. Prof. G. Gopal Reddy, Registrar appreciated the efforts in making the connectivity of students and employers.  Wg. Cmdr.(Retd) K. Krishnan, Chief Advisor, M/s. HireeMee Pvt. Ltd said that the initiative is done as Corporate Social Responsibility where 1300 employers so far have agreed to hire the students enrolled on M/s. HireMee platform.

Prof. T. Krishna Rao, Officer on Special Duty to Vice Chancellor, Prof. S.V. Satyanarayana, Chairman, MoU Committee, Prof. T. Parthasarathy, Dean, Development & UGC Affairs, Prof. T.Sujatha, Public Relations Officer and Principals were present on the occasion. Later, an interactive session was held between M/s. HireMee Pvt. Ltd. and Prof. V. Usha Kiran ,Director, Directorate of Placement Services and placement officers of all colleges.
