TS Govt whip urges people to take part in Haritha Haram programme
Yadagirigutta: Government whip Gongidi Sunitha here on Wednesday called upon people to plant five saplings each to make the State green Telangana Kavitha was participating in fourth phase of Haritha Haram programme at Angadi Bazaar in Yadagirigutta.
Speaking on this occasion, she said it was the duty of everyone to plant and protect saplings to ensure sufficient rainfall, good yields and maintain ecological balance.
Saplings planted in the earlier three phases of Haritha Haram programs had grown up. She advised all sections of the people to take part in Haritha Haram programme to reduce pollution and in the interest of future generations.
G Swapna, ZPTC K Kamalamma, MPDO M Sambashiva Rao, Sarpanch Budida Swamy, MPTC Krishna, Co-option member Salim and TRS leaders took part in the programme.
