KTR lauds T SAT on first anniversary
Hyderabad: Minister for IT & Municipal Administration and Urban Development K T Rama Rao on Thursday directed T SAT Channels’ management to prepare a special action plan for providing efficient and apt training and skills to Telangana students enabling them to get jobs in Central government and related organisations.
Rama Rao said the T SAT should ponder a new and innovative plan of action to expand its training to other areas. He planted a sapling to mark the first anniversary of T SAT along with CEO Shailesh Reddy, TSCHE Chairman Papi Reddy and others.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister stressed the need for expanding the services of T SAT. He expressed concern that the middle class could not afford education and health. He also said the satellite channel was providing quality education to middle class unemployed persons and also teaching students in all schools across the State.
The students were awaiting class of T SAT for competitive examinations, he said and asked the youth and students to make use of the teaching on the two channels and compete to get the jobs. He appreciated the T SAT for providing adept training and imparting required skills for the students through its two channels.
The State government would achieve its goal and feel proud when the technology reached the common man, Rama Rao noted. T SAT which is offering services in education and agriculture sectors should focus on other sectors and help them witness rapid growth, he added. Along with Shailesh Reddy, Papi Reddy and staff, the Minister cut a cake to mark the first anniversary of T SAT.
