Telangana Youth Quake-2018 in September: Student Islamic Organisation
Hanamkonda: The Student Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) will organise a programme ‘Telangana Youth Quake – 2018’ at Hyderabad in September month, said SIO State wing president Laeeq Ahmed Khan.
Speaking at a press meet at the Press club in Hanamkonda on Thursday, Syed Ahmed Ali said with the theme ‘Questioning Present-Envisioning Future’, the Telangana Youth Quake-2018 programme is organised for the sustainable development of Telangana and demanding the State government solve various issues related to education, economic development, social and political discrimination that are prevailing in the society.
According to a recent survey done by BSE and CMIE, Telangana State has third highest level of unemployed graduates, the crime statistics also on disastrous path in the State with 6 per cent increase of rape cases and 34 per cent of bodily offences against women, children and innocent people, he added.
Ahmed Ali demanded the government implementation of the promised 12 per cent reservations for Muslim minorities and lifting ban on students union elections immediately along with taking stringent action against the culprits, who are violating human rights and disturbing the societal peace.
He urged the students of various organisations and educational institutions to participate in large number in the Telangana Youth Quake-2018 programme to make it a grand success.
SIO district president Syed Ahmed Ali, State secretary Syed Ibrahim, regional organiser Md Arshad, district secretary Md Firdose Ali were present along with others.
