Centre adopts anti-working class policies: CITU
Khammam: Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU) district unit leader Tumma Vishnuvardhan here on Friday alleged that the Narendra Modi-led Central government has adopted anti-working class policies. It has not been enforcing the Labour Act to protect the workers, he said. He stressed the need to fight against the forces inimical against working classes.
Speaking a meeting the leadership of Pasham Sathyanarayana here, Vishnuvardhan alleged that the Narendra Modi-led BJP government has been seeking to suppress the working class and destroy it economically, politically, socially and culturally.
The BJP-led government, he said, was encouraging communialism and attacks on people belonging to weaker sections. Apart from it, The government has been appointing RSS ideologues in key posts and thus helping spreading hatred against Minorities and Dalits.
CITU leaders Yerra Srikanth, Bhukya Srinivas Rao, Mandali Veeraswamy, Jayamma, Yerra Srinivas Rao, Tukashala Lingaiah, Yerra Gopi, Mekala Srinivas Rao, A Venkanna, Anji Reddy, Sudha Rani, Mallikarjun, Bujji, Venkateshwarlu, Lingaiah and Ramana Begum were present at the programme.
