More skeletons tumble out of closet; child victims hidden in tunnels

Yadagirigutta: In a shocking development, during the interrogation of the arrested accused in the sensational sex racket case in Yadagirigutta, the investigating officers found that the brothel organisers dug up tunnels from inside their houses to hide child victims in case of police raids.

The police arrested six more accused in connection with the human trafficking that shocked the people recently in the pilgrim centre of Yadagirigutta town and rescued four children from the clutches of brothels here on Thursday.

Yadadri- Bhongir DCP Ramachandra Reddy said the police arrested six more people and rescued four more children from brothels in the temple town as part of their efforts to put a check on flesh trade. 

He said of the six arrested, three accused fled from the houses during the raids of ICDS and police in Ganesh Nagar on July 31 and the other three were associates of them.

He confirmed the arrest of local RMP doctor Narsimha of Anuradha Hospital who administered hormone injections to victim girls for early puberty and further informed that a Special Operation Team recovered 48 injections and samples from his possession. 

He informed that if parents from any area lodged complaint regarding their missing girl children can approach the police and after DNA tests, respective babies would be handed over to them as per the official procedure.

Meanwhile, it came to know that during the police interrogation, the arrested disclosed that they dug underground tunnels with manholes under cots in their residences to hide the procured girl children during the police and ICDS officials’ raids.
