108 emergency service launched in Maddur
Mahbubnagar: The health department officials launched 108 emergency services at Maddur mandal in Mahbubnagar on Monday. Earlier, the people of Maddur used to get services from either Kosgi or Kodangal or Narayanpet and it used to be very difficult for them to access the 108 services due to far away distance.
However, now keeping in view the earlier difficulty, the health department officials have decided to start 108 services right with in Maddur mandal. With this now the people in and around a radius of 15-20 kilometres will get instant emergency medical services during emergencies.
While launching the free 108 services at the Mandal Parishad Office in Maddur mandal, Sangeeta Kumar, MPP, Maddur mandal said, “with the launch of 108 sevices, now people of Maddur mandal will have better access to emergency services. Therefore people should utilse this opportunity during emergencies and can avail better medical services during healthcare adversaries.”
TRS mandal president Laxmi Narayana Reddy, Sub-Inspector of Police Naresh, MPTC Mahadevan, Veeraesh Gud, Venkataiah former Sarpanch and members of medical and 108 services took part in the programme.
