Bahujan Student Federation of India launches Rath Yatra to highlight issues
Khammam: Bahujan Student Federation of India (BSFI) State coordinator Boddu Karunakar flagged off the Maha Ratha Yatra by planting a sapling near Ambedkar Statue at ZP centre on Tuesday.
The Maha Ratha Yatra was intended to highlight the problems being faced by the people in the united Khammam district. While flagging off the Yatra, Karunakar alleged that the TRS government had utterly failed in strengthening the education sector. The government had not provided basic facilities in government schools and colleges, he said.
He accused the government of adopting anti-student policies. It was not in a mood to resolve the problems being faced by the students. The Yatra was taken up for creating awareness among the students over the poor state of affairs in the education sector.
He demanded that the government release scholarships and fee reimbursement dues immediately and urged the students to participate in the Yatra in large numbers and make it a grand success.
BSFI members Nimmapalli Raj Kumar, Chekuri Sathyanarayana, Bhadru Naik, Lingala Ravi Kumar and Gundeti Bhadraiah were present at the programme.
