Hanamkonda: Unable to face the might of the Congress in the next elections, the ruling TRS leaders are conspiring to tarnish the image of the Opposition party leaders, Warangal District Congress Committee (DCC) president Nayini Rajender Reddy told the media persons here on Monday.

“Instead of utilising the people’s mandate given to it for the development of the State, the TRS government has been misusing it to defame the Opposition leaders, especially the Congress,” he said, referring to the allegations against former Chief Whip Gandra Venkata- ramana Reddy.

It may be mentioned here that police had registered a cheating case against Gandra based on a complaint lodged by K Vijayalaxmi Reddy of Pasra. ‘I have never seen a ruling party stoop so low, Reddy said, finding fault for using a woman to tarnish the image of a leader like Gandra.’

It happened to former minister and senior Congress leader Duddilla Sridhar Babu, who was booked on charges of conspiring to implicate a TRS leader in a false Ganja case to settle political scores, and also to me in Corporator Anisetty Murali murder case, Rajender Reddy said, accusing the TRS of playing with the lives of Opposition leaders. “Order CBI inquiry if you have guts,” he challenged, referring to the cases against him.

Rajender Reddy dared the ruling party leaders stating that he was ready for a debate over misuse of power by the government. “Beware the TRS leaders. If Congress come to power, we will strip your clothes off by revealing the darker side of your lives,” Reddy warned.
