Collector reviews Mee-Seva functioning
Nirmal: District Collector M Prashanti directed the Mee-Seva organisers to extend better services to people, while reviewing the functioning of Mee-Seva centres here at the collectorate on Wednesday.
Stating that the government set up these centres to serve the people, she told the organisers to issue certificates without troubling the people. She also directed them to make necessary arrangements for the visitors at the centres. "Usually uneducated people visit the centres. You should respect them and extend the service," she said.
The Collector said that several complaints were received about charging extra fee against the prescribed rates. She warned that the licence of centres would be cancelled if such irregularities take place. Speaking about the digital literacy programme in the district,
Collector Prashanti said that the target is about 60,000 and 4,882 persons were registered their names and 2,237 certificates were already issued.
District Panchayat Officer Srinivas, e-seva district manager Nadeem Khan and others were present.
