Cops trace 2 minor girls missing from college
Warangal: It was a hectic Tuesday night for the Warangal Commissionerate Police when they received a complaint that two minor girls were went missing. In a dramatic investigation that began at around 11.30 pm and ended late in the night, the police successfully found out the girls.
The police said that two girls studying first year agricultural polytechnic in the Regional Agricultural Research Station, located on the suburbs of Warangal, went missing from their college at around 3.30 pm on Tuesday.
The college management, which came to know that two girls were missing, informed the parents about it. The parents, after enquiring with their relatives about their daughters, approached the Hasanparthy police at 11.30 pm.
Inspector P Kishan, who registered a case immediately, alerted all the police stations. The police formed two teams led by Kishan and Intezargunj Inspector Ravi Kumar and launched a search for the girls.
Got a clue from the other students, a police team was also dispatched to Bhupalpally. Finally, the police found both the girls at the bus stop of Oorugonda village, 17 kms from Warangal. The police reunited both the girls with their parents. Commissioner of Police V Ravinder, who monitored the incident, commended Inspectors P Kishan and Ravi Kumar for showing alacrity.
