Vishwa Hindu Parishad to stage dharna at collectorates on Aug 13
Hyderabad: Vishwa Hindu Parishad has decided to intensify their fight against the externment of Sri Peetham Seer Swamy Paripoornananda. The VHP leaders on Wednesday said that they would take up a protest at district collectorates on August 13.
Addressing a press conference here along with VHP leader R Shashidhar, Parishad’s working president V Surender Reddy said that the VHP leaders in the State would take up a dharna in front of all district collectorates in the State at 11 am on August 13 demanding cancellation of externment of Swamy Paripoornananda.
The VHP leaders called up on people to extend their support to the dharna. Replying to a question, Shashidhar said that Paripoornananda had put forward his version before the court and the government was yet to respond. He said that the government was delaying by citing technical reasons such as Bonalu etc. He demanded the government to bring the seer back to the city.
The VHP leaders also alleged that a MIM corporators in Balapur was assisting Rohingyas to live illegally in the city. Shashidhar alleged that the government was also turning a blind eye towards the issue. “VHP will not tolerate this and take up agitation on a large scale against the illegal residents in the city,” said Shashidhar.
