Congress leader’s son caught for drunk driving

 ​Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader, Mallu Ravi’s son Mallu Siddharth was caught during drive against drunk driving on Friday night. The police seized his car and a case was booked.

During the late-night drive on Road 45 under Jubilee Hills police station limits, the police subjected Siddhartha to breathalyser test. 

He was found driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. A case was booked against him and his car was seized, the police said.

In another case, a son of a top businessman was also caught by the Jubilee Hills police for drunk driving. Instead of towing the car to the police station, businessman’s son was asked to drive it to the station while cops sat beside him in the vehicle. 

On Friday night, the police conducted the drive in five places in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills areas. A total of 39 cars, 68 bikes were seized during the drive.
