Homages paid to Somnath Chatterjee

Kothagudem: District leaders of the Communist Party of India -Marxist (CPM) paid tributes to former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee here on Monday. CPM district unit held a condolence meeting after the sudden demise of Somnath Chatterjee at the district party office.  

The leaders expressed condolences over the demise of the former Lok Sabha Speaker during the meeting. Recollecting the services of Chatterjee to the nation, they said Chatterjee served the as one of the best Parliamentarians the country had ever seen, impeccable Speaker of the Lok Sabha and as the senior member of the party. Party district secretary A Kanakaiah, town secretary B Sriniu and other leaders attended the programme.
