ABVP, RSS engineered attack on Umar Khalid

Khammam: Student Federation of India (SFI) district unit secretary T Nagaraju here on Tuesday blamed Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Rastriya Swayam Seveksangh (RSS) and BJP for the attack on student leader Umar Khalid in New Delhi.

The SFI activists burnt an effigy of the ABVP, RSS and BJP demanding that the government ban ABVP and RSS. Nagaraju said attacks on student leaders, human rights activists, journalists, democrats and Dalits were increasing day by day after the BJP came to power at the Centre.

The BJP party was encouraging communalism and terrorism in the country and unleashing its activists belonging to its affiliates like ABVP and RSS on political opponents.

He demanded that the Central government take action against the guilty. SFI  activists J Ashok, N Gayatri, T Mangesh, Vinay and Shirisha were present at the programme.
