Patrol vehicle knocks down sanitary worker

 ​Hyderabad: A sanitary worker was knocked to death by a police patrolling vehicle under the Rein Bazaar Police station limits on Thursday. In the accident, the victim, Sayamma (50), a resident of Singareni Colony, died on the spot. After registering a case, the police shifted the victim’s body to Osmania Hospital morgue for post-mortem. 

Taking the incident seriously, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar suspended the head constable Ashok and immediately gave orders to arrest him. The CP also issued charge memo to the Inspector, Rein Bazaar on this issue.
