TRS postpones State executive panel meet
Hyderabad: In the wake of rains in the State, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) postponed the State Executive Committee, Parliamentary Party and Legislature Party meeting, which was scheduled on Friday.
Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao had called State Executive Committee, Parliamentary Party and Legislature Party meeting on Friday. The meeting was to discuss the preparations for the party’s proposed biggest ever public meeting on September 2. The party is slated to announce candidates in September.
However, because of rains during the last days, the Chief Minister postponed the meeting. The Chief Minister the public representatives including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and others to be in villages and assist the official machinery in helping the people. A TRS leader said that fresh date would be announced for the meeting after the rains.
