TRS MPs pay rich tributes to Vajpayee

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) members of Parliament on Friday paid tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and said that it was a great loss to the country.

TRS MPs K Keshav Rao and Jitender Reddy paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee in Delhi. Later, Rao said that Vajpayee was a rare personality who won the hearts of many and never had enmity with others. Paying tributes to the departed leader of the nation, Keshav Rao said that Vajpayee thought of political rivalry for time being and not as enemies otherwise. “Vajpayee was a multi-faceted personality whose demise is a great loss to the nation. It is painful that the nation lost a towering leader who maintained friendliness with all political parties,” he said.

Jitender Reddy said that Vajpayee won entire world with his impeccable heart and character. Reddy said that Vajpayee was one of the great pillars of the country. His death caused a huge void that cannot be filled, Reddy observed. “Entire nation is grieving at Vajpayee’s demise and we feel the pain as he is no more in midst of us,” the TRS leader said. 

The former Prime Minister remains in the hearts of the people as a great leader, he added. Here in Hyderabad, MP B Vinod Kumar said that Vajpayee’s death is a big loss to the country. “Vajpayee had participated in freedom struggle, Quit India movement. He is a great humanitarian person,” Vinod Kumar added.
