Cops donate one-day salary to Kerala flood victims

Khammam : Khammam Police officials on Tuesday announced contribution of their one-day salary to support the Kerala flood victims. “It is the worst disaster that is witnessed after several decades in the country. As many 350 people have lost their lives and many have become homeless due the destruction floods,” Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal said.

“It is the prime responsibility of every citizen to come forward for lending the helping hand to the people of Kerala State who are facing  a lot of hardships. Any small help done with humanity would be a great help for them,” he added.

The Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal said the Police Association stands with the people of Kerala during this time of crisis and wished the people to be strong to overcome this tragedy.

Additional DCP K Suresh Kumar, Police Association member Venkateshwarlu, Jhony Miya, Jyothi and Shoukat Ali and others were present on the occasion.
