Hyderabad: Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) has warned of going to court if official machinery is misused in Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Pragati Nivedana Sabha at Kongara Kolan on September 2. Addressing media here on Sunday, Kodandaram said pressing RTC, self-help groups into service or other government wings to provide free water, free power free dais etc. would amount to misuse of official machinery. TJS would take the task legally, and officials who go out of the way and work for the meeting, he stated mincing no words. “Also, we would be watching closely if school buses are used to transport public for the meeting.

Previously, officials refused permission to TJS to utilise school bus facility,” he reminded. The TJS chief said that onus lies on Governor and Chief Secretary to ensure official machinery was not misused for a meeting of a political party.

Meanwhile, Congress senior leader Marri Sashidhar Reddy’s son Marri Aditya Reddy joined TJS in the presence of Kodandaram on Sunday. Speaking later, Aditya Reddy said he was inspired by Kodandaram’s role and work in the past for realisation of Telangana State and his vision for development of State.

The young leader said that his father would have no objections if he joined TJS as his objective was to contribute the cause taken up by Kodandaram. He said he had not decided on contesting from particular segment as of yet and his immediate job is to strengthen TJS to expose Chandrashekar Rao’s misrule in Telangana.
