3 lakh from Warangal to attend Pragathi Nivedana meet: Srihari
Bhupalpally: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Thursday said that over three lakh people will be mobilised from previous parts of Warangal district for Pragathi Nivedana Sabha at Kongarakalan on September 2. Srihari criticised Congress leaders for making false accusations against the ruling party leaders and the government.
Speaking at a programme at Bhupalpally along with party leaders, Srihari asked them to show their strength in the meeting by turning up in huge numbers. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will address the meeting and portray the four and half years long schemes of welfare and development in Telangana State. “We are not able to provide transport to shift the people as more number is expected to the mega programme. With this meeting, the TRS will set another record in Indian politics and create a history,” he said.
The Deputy CM said the KCR government has focused on welfare and development and completing the projects on a war-footing besides flagship schemes like Kalyan Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak giving Rs 1.16 lakh to each girl, Mission Bhagiratha to give potable waters, Mission Kakatiya reviving lakes and water bodies, Rythu Bandhu help of Rs 8,000 per acre, Rs 5 lakh Rythu Bima to the kin of deceased farmers.
Since the government has developed all sectors in four and half years the people are happy. Chandrashekar Rao will address the first of its kind meeting to be attended by about 25 lakh people. Of course, this meeting will be a milestone as the TRS has such guts and capacity to conduct such a big meeting during the statehood fight, the Deputy CM added.
