Intermediate student commits suicide

Aler( Yadadri- Bhongir): Distressed with the harassment of neighbours and relatives an Intermediate girl committed suicide by consuming pesticide at Kollur village of Aler mandal in the district on Thursday. 

The deceased was identified as Gyarapaka Shravya (17). According to the sources, Shravya of Kollur was a student of Intermediate first year at Government Junior College in Aler. Her neighbour and  relative Gyarapaka Pavan also was studying in the same college.

Pavan posted a photo of Shravya talking with a boy in whatsapp group ten days ago. He expressed  his sorry to  Kavya over his wrong action before the village elders on August 24 warned him to give up mischievous activities hereafter.

Meanwhile, Pavan parents insulted Kavya several times.  Depressed Shravya on Wednesday evening consumed pesticide at her house. Alerted locals shifted her to the Government hospital in Aler for treatment. Later she was shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. She succumbed on Thursday morning while undergoing treatment at hospital. Local SI Venkat Reddy registered a case and took up investigation.
