Mahbubnagar: Mahabubnagar MP Jitender Reddy while giving a call to the people in the district, particularly to the farmers, employees and students to take part in large numbers in the upcoming Pragati Nivedana Sabha in RR district on Sunday, said that the meetig  will be the mother of all meetings held ever in the history of Telangana.

He said this grand platform will speak out the progress report of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government, for which people from the district should take part in large numbers and make it a grand success.

“Pragati Nivedana meet will be one of the largest meetings ever held in the history of Telangana. The arrangements for the meeting are going on fast tract and it is designed to accommodate more than 25 lakh people spread over 2000 acres.

However, we are expecting double the number of people to the meet. Particularly, all the farmers who have got the Raitu Bandhu are invited for this sabha, where KCR will present development progress card to the people of Telangana,” said Jitender Reddy, while talking to media in Mahbubnagar on Friday.

The TRS MP expressed hope that the farmers, the youth and general public will stand by the TRS government as it has done impeccable developments and launched never before welfare schemes to benefit the poor and downtrodden.

“Our government has touched upon each and every section in the society and strived for the welfare of every individual. In addition to the welfare, we have taken up large scale construction of various irrigational projects for the benefit of the people particularly the farmers. Therefore we are giving a call to one and all to take part in the Pragati nivedana sabha and make it a success,” said the MP.

The MP recalled that earlier, when the government in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh were told to release white paper about their development activities they used to shy away from doing so, however, here is our TRS party where we ourselves are coming out with our progress card and it should be treated as the whitepaper for our development, observed Mr. Reddy.
