TRS wasting public money on meeting: Revanth

Chinthapally(Nalgonda): Congress fire brand leader Revanth Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his family members have been comfortably earning crores of rupees as kickbacks, whereas majority of the people are struggling for bread and butter.

On Thursday he toured Deverakonda constituency and organised a road show at Mall village in Chithapally mandal in the district. Addressing the gathering, he said, “Congress is the only party that constructed Dindi and other minor irrigation projects in Devearakonda constituency to provide irrigation facility and drinking water to the people living in the constituency.

He alleged TRS has been misusing Rs 500 crore public money for Pragathi Nivedhana Sabha. He mocked Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy and described him as a minister, who is  just above the home guard and below the security guard stays before  the toddy selling shop.  

He stated that the state has been suffering with Pink bug and it should be terminated. He questioned the sanctity of CM KCR with regard to Nakkalagandi project in Deverakonda constituency. 

Stating that TRS leaders are hyping the Pragathi Nivedhana Sabha as mega meeting to divert the attention of  the people from their mistakes, he challenged CM KCR and KTR will they apologise, if as many as 25,000 people from each Assembly constituency do not participates in the so called sabha. Congress party Deverakonda leders Bhilya Naik, Jagan Naik , Ramesh Naik  and party workers and supporters participated in the programme.
