Priests conduct special homam amid chanting of shlokas

Bhadrachalam: A Srimath Baghvath Sapthaham  programme was conducted here in the Chitrakuta Mandapam on Lord Rama temple premises on Sunday. The priests conducted a separate Homam during amid chanting of shlokas by the priests. The programme which started on August 31 will continue till September 7. 
 
A huge rush of devotees was witnessed on the occasion. On account weekly holiday (Sunday) devotees from various places reached here and offered prayers to Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana.  The temple authorities also arranged special facilities for the darshan to the devotees.  Nithya Kalayanam programme was also conducted at Beda Mandapam. Meanwhile, a devotee R Bhashyam from Khammam donated Rs 1, 46,740 worth gold ornament to the deities.
