GHMC removes 5,286 metric tonnes of wastage, debris

Kukatpally: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has started removing the debris and wastage from the city roads. As per the directions of GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore, the major routes were cleaned in a war footing. 

GHMC officer Ravi said that nearly 5,286 metric tonns of construction waste material was removed from the major roads of Kukatpally division. As many as 22 additional vehicles were given to the monsoon disaster team to carry debris and entire wastage was going to be dumped in Jawahar Nagar Dump yard, he added. As many as 31 GHMC officials were appointed only for monitoring the removal of construction waste at Jidimetla, Nizampet and Kukatpally. The GHMC Commissioner also directed GHMC officials to fix the potholes on the roads if any.
