Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav highlights state government’s achievements
Siddipet: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav explained various policies and welfare measures taken up by the State government in the past four and half years at the press meet held at Siddipet Collectorate on Tuesday.
Addressing the media, he said the government took special interest for the welfare of people who depend on caste-based occupations. Opposition always treated BCs as vote bank but it is the only TRS government that has really strived for the development of BCs, he said.
Referring the State government as farmer-friendly government, he explained various farmer-friendly measures taken by the government, such as Raithu Bandu, 24-hour electricity and irrigation projects undertaken by the state government. Praising efforts of T Harish Rao, Major Irrigation Minister, he termed Harish Rao as the best irrigation minister so far not only in the state but also nation.
He also spoke about the recently held mammoth meeting held by the party, ‘Pragathi Nivedhana Sabha’ and called it as best one in the nation’s history. He said that people still long for TRS rule. He informed that buffaloes and sheep will be distributed in Siddipet district from September 12. When asked about GO 6, he said that the GO would be amended to sort out issues if any.
