ABVP students burst crackers to celebrate Assembly dissolution
Kukatpally: Students of JNTU who are members of ABVP on Thursday burst crackers and distributed sweets to celebrate the dissolution of the State Assembly. They burnt Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s effigy to protest the government’s failure to implement the election promises during the last four and a half years.
Addressing the students, ABVP leaders criticised KCR for failing to provide the promised two bedroom houses and pending scholarships. They claimed that it was ‘shameful’ for the government to get the Assembly dissolved as also to go for elections. The leaders accused KCR of letting down the people, failing to reply to the questions posed by media persons on development, while announcing the 105 party candidates for the elections.
