The group politics and its impact on the upcoming Assembly elections will certainly come into play in the wake of dissolution of Assembly. All the three leaders Uttam kumar Reddy, Jana Reddy and Komatireddy Venakat Reddy have individual identity at state level and at the same time they could not accept others leadership.

Of the 12 Assembly constituencies in erstwhile Nalgonda district,  apart from his  Huzurnagar constituency, TPCC Uttam Kumar Reddy has good grip and loyal followers including former minister Ramareddy Damoder Reddy, DCC president Budida Bixamaiah goud, party Bhongir constituency leader Kumbam Anil kumar Reddy in Kodad, Surypet, Tungaturhi constituencies in Suryapet district , Bhongir and Aler constituencies in Yadadri- Bhongir district.

Whereas, senior party leader Jana Reddy can show his impact on his own constituency Nagarjuna Sagar, Miryalguda and Deverakonda constituencies in Nalgonda district.

Meanwhile, former deputy CLP leader  Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and his brother MLC Rajgopal reddy have good supporters and fans in Nalgonda, Munugodu and Nakrekal constituencies in Nalgonda district  and Bhongir, Aler in bhongir- Yadradri district and Tungaturhi constituency in Suryapet district.

Even though all the three leaders themselves have good political track record, they never worked cordially together. Moreover, they tried to defeat each other in 2014 elections to end each other’s political life.

In 2014 elections, Congress and its ally CPI won Kodad, Huzurnagar, Miryalguda,Nagarjuna Sagar and  Devarakonda Assembly seats and lost Nakrekal, Thunatutrhi, Suryapet Assembly seats with slight margin of less than 2,000 votes and also Bhongir Parliament constituency due to group politics.

During the course of time  Miryalguda MLA Bhaskar Rao ( Congress),  Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukender Reddy (Congress), ZP Chairman Balu Naik (Congress )vexed with group politics and political compulsions shifted their loyalty to TRS party.

Meanwhile, fire brand Komatireddy brothers have been opposing the Uttam Kumar Reddy since he took the charge of TPCC president, whereas senior congress leader K Janareddy maintains political maturity with all the leaders and uses his links with the high command  whenever necessary.

Several second rung congress leaders in erstwhile Nalgonda district  on condition of anonymity stated that three top leaders Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jana Reddy and Komatireddy brothers promote the  group politics for their vested interests. They further opined that if same differences continue between the trio, party will witness adverse results in erstwhile Nalgonda district as well as in the State in forth coming Assembly elections.
