MLA Kanaka Reddy opens government hospital
Malkajgiri: The 50-bed government hospital was inaugurated suddenly by local MLA Kanaka Reddy, instead of Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, who missed the event for the fifth time, here on Thursday without any advance intimation.
Local residents while hailing the launch told The Hans India that the hospital was ready for inauguration three months back, wondering why they had to wait for KTR. They pointed out that if the inauguration taken place in June it would have benefited local people.
Among those present at the hospital launch were corporators Baddam Pushpalata Reddy, Sridevi Hanmanth Rao, GHMC co-option member Jyothi Srinivas Goud, GHMC Deputy Commissioner Venugopal, Dr S Narayana, DMHO, DCH Dr Prasad, senior doctor Raju, ENT specialist Dr Rajender Kumar, general surgeon Dr Chandra Krishna, orthopaedic surgeon Dr Shahin, Dr Bhimavati, local leaders VK Mahesh, Satish, Hanmanth Rao, Khaleel, Upender, Pitla Srinivas.
