MLA Vivekanand honours 32 teachers

Quthbullapur: Local MLA KP Vivekanand on Wednesday honoured 32 teachers in the mandal parishad development office to celebrate the Teacher’s Day. Speaking at the function, he described teachers as ‘Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu’ who should be treated as gods, as per the age-old traditions. 

The legislator pointed out that in other countries ‘Gurupujostavam’ was being celebrated on special days. Among those present were Zilla Parishad Vice-chairman Prabhakar Reddy, MPP Sanna Kavita Srisailam Yadav, MEO Anjaneyulu and teachers.
