Congress leader criticises KCR for early elections

Amberpet: Amberpet constituency level Congress party workers meeting was held here on Saturday. V Hanumantha Rao, prominent Congress leader, participated in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed his hope that Congress party would come to power whenever elections were conducted. He said that people were not happy with the early election. If elections were held as per schedule, more youth could have utilized their voting right, he said.   

He alleged that caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao forced early elections on people because of disturbances in his family. Condemning KCR’s comments against Nehru family, he said that people would teach him a lesson in the upcoming general election for abusing the Nehru family which made sacrifices for nation. He expressed a strong confidence that any candidate contesting from Congress would win the Amberpet constituency. 

He reprimanded the state government for not taking any action against the local TRS party leaders who have encroached Bathukamma Kunta lands. Later, he welcomed TRS and MIM party workers who have joined Congress party and congratulated them
