KCR afraid of defeat: Congress leader

Bhongir: AICC Secretary Salim Ahmed on Sunday felt that TRS government is going for early polls due to fear of defeat. Speaking to media in Bhongir, Salim said that the TRS supremo KCR is feeling insecure and under pressure since AICC president Rahul Gandhi’s recent tour in Telangana and finally dissolved the Assembly before nine months.

He questioned Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to reveal hidden political agenda over his numerous meetings with PM Modi before the dissolution of the State Assembly.

Stating Congress has specific plans with regard to upcoming polls and going accordingly, he informed that the party will announce its first list of MLA candidates very soon.

A committee was constituted with regard to alliances and all the leaders must accept the committee recommendations in the interest of party, he underlined.

He exuded confidence that with the blessings of the people, Congress will come to power in the State this time. In this press meet TPCC general secretary Venu Gopal Reddy, DCC president Budida Bixamaiah Goud and others participated.
