BJP to fight alone in Telangana elections
Medchal: Telangana state BJP is planning to fight alone in the upcoming assembly elections. This was indicated in its meeting of Shakti Kendras held at SS Function hall, Malkajgiri. Former MLA and BJP leader of legislature Kishan Reddy, former MLA SVSS Prabhakar, Medchal district BJP president Kantha Rao, MLC Ramchander Rao, Kompally Mohan Reddy and Malla Reddy were among the prominent party leaders who participated in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders exhorted party workers to put all their efforts to ensure success in the coming elections. On the eve of upcoming elections, Amit Shaw, BJP national president, will initiate the election campaign in the state with his public meeting to be held at Mahbubnagar on 15 of this month, they informed. Candidates will be selected based on party high command decision, they said. Party leaders appealed party workers to ensure that large number of people assemble for the Mahbubnagar meeting.
