Welfare and development is our mantra: KTR

Mahbubnagar: Welfare and development are the only agenda we as the TRS party leaders have been delivering all through the four years of our rule in Telangana, said K Taraka Rama Rao, Minister for IT and MAUD, while laying a foundation stone for the modern market yard for Mahbubnagar on Tuesday. 

Addressing a gathering at the Telangana junction in the district, KTR said that since the formation of Telangana and after TRS came to power, the state government has been giving special attention to the welfare and development in Mahbubnagar district.

Asara pensions, old age pensions, Sona masuri quality rice to school children for mid-day-meals, Kalyana Laxmi, Shaadi Mubarak, KCR Kits to pregnant women delivering in government hospitals and establishment of 700 gurukula schools and many other welfare schemes have been launched in Telangana  in the  past four years.

Apart from this we also have the big responsibility of waiving off the loans of women groups which we will do it for sure. We have taken up development works worth Rs. 324 crores and constructed various roads, water tanks etc. 

“Very soon we will be providing safe drinking tap water to each and every household. Apart from this, the most important achievement of our government is providing 24 hour power to both industry and agriculture sector. In Mahabubnagar we have already built 4000 double bedroom houses and many more in the process of completion.

We have launched the Raitu bhandu and Raitu Bheema schemes. All these schemes have been successfully implemented in just 4 years of period. A part from this we have taken up gigantic major irrigation projects like PRRLI and Kaleshwarma in addition to completion of existing projects,” said the IT minister while enumerating the development works the TRS government had launched during its 4 years rule. 

Srinvas Goud, MLA Mahabubnagar said his major goal is to stop migration and had succeeded to a large extent and he wants to make Mahabubnagar an IT hub and provide employment to lakhs of people from the district. Jitender Reddy MP Mahbubnagar said the TRS party has only one agenda and that is welfare and development. 

Laxma Reddy, Health minister said that after the TRS has come to power, healthcare has been improved many folds and water supply which the people of Mahabubnagar used to get once in 18 days are now able to get daily and this is only because of efforts of leaders of TRS who have always been with the people and serving their needs.
