Ganesh navratri celebrations in Tandur

Tandur: The ongoing Ganesh Navratri celebrations ushered in a festive atmosphere in the town. The organisers installed Ganesh idols of varied look and style at pandals to draw the attention of the public. Especially, idols at Veer Hanuman Temple at Old Tandur and Saipur became special attraction among others. This year, clay idols ruled the roost compared to last year. 

‘Gananadhudu’ has been receiving special puja twice in a day. People of the villages in Peddamul, Tandur, Yalal and Bashirabad also took part in the celebrations in their respective areas. CIs Upendar, Pratapa Lingam has been the monitoring security arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents.
