Girijana Garjana Mahasabha on Sept 25

Khammam: ‘Girijana Sangham general secretary Bhukya Veerabhadram on Tuesday alleged the TRS government deceived tribal community and failed to fulfill the promises made to them. A meeting of Girijana Sangham was held under the leadership of Bhukya Krishna here at Sundharaiah Bhavan on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, B Veerabhadram alleged that during the 2014 elections the TRS had promised the tribal people that it would allot three acres of land. Instead of implementing it, the TRS government is trying snatch the podu lands that they have been cultivating several decades.

All the tribal people must fight against the TRS party, which betrayed them, to get their rights. He appealed the tribals to support and vote the BLF candidates who stood by them in fighting against police personnel who tried to evict the tribal people from podu lands on the orders issued by the TRS government.

He also urged the people to attend in large numbers the ‘Girijana Garjana Mahasabha’ which is going to be held in Hyderabad on September 25 and make it a grand success. He later released the poster of the Mahasabha.

The representatives of Girijana Sangham Badavath Srinu, Gogulothu Harinath Babu, Gogulothu Panthu Naik, Bhukya Krishna, Bhukya Nageshwara Rao, Tejavath Sitharamulu, Bhukya Mannsingh and Nagaraju among others were present on the occasion.
