Janardhan Reddy inspects various HMDA projects

Hyderabad: HMDA Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy inspected various projects on greenery and nurseries undertaken by HMDA. The Eco Park at Kotwalguda which is proposed for development of Night Safari Park was inspected and instructed to expedite. The Night Safari Park is proposed to develop on the lines of Singapore Night Safari in an area of 130 acre on PPP Mode. 

Janardhan instructed officials to undertake further study of the project concept including PPP concepts and to speed up the process. Subsequently, the Commissiner visited the Logistic Parks at Mangalpally and Batasingaram taken up on PPP Mode. The project minimum development obligations and other modalities of the project including the proposed plans for development were seen and requested the agencies to speed up the work to commence the commercial operations at the earliest. 

The development works in progress at Shilparamamam, the layout development in an area 485 acres at Uppal Bhagath, Musi Riverfront along the stretch of HMDA layout for a length of 2.50 km were also inspected. The instructions were also issued to take up all the balance works to make the layout in full and final shape, so that the allotted could take up construction of their buildings. 

The other officers accompanied in the inspection were Chief Engineer, Director Urban Forestry, Superintending Engineers, etc. Janardhan studied the plans for the development and the focus of the visit was PPP project initiated by HMDA among other project such as Uppal Bhagath layout.
