Take steps to stall illicit liquor supply during elections in Vikarabad

​Vikarabad:  The Deputy Commissioner of Excise SY Qureshi directed the officials concerned to take steps to contain illicit liquor during the coming assembly elections. He addressed the media, here on Tuesday along with Excise Superintendent Varaprasad. 

The commissioner directed the toddy tappers to follow the guidelines issued by the excise department and sell it to the licenced venders only. Stringent action will be taken if rules are flouted, he warned. He told the toddy vendors do not adulterate the content. The commissioner said regular raids will be organised during the election time.
