Konda Laxman Bapuji remembered

Khammam: Lambadi Hakkula Porata Samiti-Nangara Beri (LHPS), on Friday recalled the life and services of  Konda Laxman Bapuji, who laid firm foundation for the Telangana movement, on his 6th death anniversary here on Friday.

After paying rich tributes Bapuji at Mahatma Jyothi Bha Phule Chowk in Khammam, Nangara Beri president Y Vinay Kumar said that besides laying firm foundation for the Telangana movement, he inspired many people and strived hard for social justice and uplifting of the weaker sections until his last breath.

Taking inspiration from Konda Laxman Bapuji services, many students, youth and leaders of various political parties participated in the Telangana movement in the later stages and achieved separate statehood, he observed.

Following his footsteps, youth of present generation must fight against the State and Central governments which are adopting anti-people policies and strive hard to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of Konda Laxman Bapuji, he urged.

The district secretary of Rythu Coolie Sangham Vemuri Bhaskar, representatives of LHPS -Nangara Beri Srinivas Naik, Bhadru Naik, Veeranna, N Jhony, Raj Kumar, N Rama Rao, M Suguna Rao, Hanumanthu, J Ravi, Laxman, Saleem, Naga Raju and Suresh were among those attended the meeting.
