Villagers vow to vote for Harish Rao
Hyderabad: “Our vote is for Harish anna... our vote is for car symbol...,” these are the banners put up at a meeting of villagers in Hussain Nagar of Nangunuru Madhira village in Siddipet, who have passed a resolution stating that they would only vote for Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao.
During the meeting which was held on Thursday under the leadership of MPTC Forum president Chauducherla Jaipal Reddy, the villagers pledged to vote for TRS candidate and Minister Harish Rao. Not only in Nangunuru, but also in other places, the villagers have adopted a resolution pledging to vote for Harish Rao. On Thursday, the villagers in Gurralagondi village in Siddipet rural mandal have not only passed a unanimous resolution, but also collected Rs 30,218 and gave it to Harish Rao as expenditure for filing the nomination papers. Harish Rao got emotional with the villagers’ kind gesture and said that he cannot repay their debt in his life.
The villagers further stated that they would not allow other parties to enter their village announcing that they would only vote for TRS. “TRS is our own party and Harish anna is our brother...the development in the region is because of the efforts of Harish anna,” said the villagers. TRS leaders including Nangunuru MPP Srikanth Reddy, PACS Chairman K Ramesh Goud, Nangunuru TRS village president Chintala Ram Reddy, AMC Chairman A Somi Reddy, mandal party president Lingam Goud, ZP Chairman R Saraiah and others were present at the meeting.
