Senior Officer's Study Period conducted at College of Air Warfare

Hyderabad: 34th Senior Officer's Study Period (SOSP) organised by the College of Air Warfare (CAW) concluded here on Thursday. The strategic level interactive programme was aimed at increasing awareness on global and regional security issues while enhancing integration among the three services. The programme was attended by 25 officers of the rank of Air Commodore and equivalent from the three services. 

In consonance with the objectives of the programme, many speakers of national and international repute including Air Marshal M Matheswaran (Retd), Lieutenant General SL Narsimhan (Retd), Dr Mohan Kanda, IAS (Retd) and Dr Ajai Sahni among others, addressed the participants. The speakers covered diverse topics including changing geo-political and economic environment, cyber security threats and concerns, nuclear doctrine of India, India's foreign policy, social media and its impact on Defence forces, India-China relations, India's space programme and Left-Wing extremism.
