Three hours to have Lord darshan

Bhadrachalam: The temple town of Bhadrachalam was filled with pilgrims from the two Telugu states and also from neighbouring states during the weekend. The devotees had to wait for minimum three hours to have Lord Rama darshan on Sunday. Long serpentine queue lines were filled with devotees. 

Meanwhile, Ganesh immersion in River Godavari was completed peacefully. Several people after immersing Ganesh idol in the river had Lord darshan. This also increased rush at the temple.

The temple authorities took all precautions to meet the rush and to provide a hassle-free darshan to all the devotees. Separate queue lines were arranged in the temple premises. On Sunday, priests conducted special abhishekam to the main idols of Lord Rama, Sita and Laxmana in the main temple. Nithya Kalyanam was also conducted, which was witnessed by several couples.
