GHMC medical assistant G Srinivasan injured during Ganesh procession

Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) medical camp assistant G Srinivasan met with an accident by a GHMC truck where one of his hands was injured during ganesh procession at tank bund on Sunday.

 Srinivasan, a GHMC contract worker was travelling back home after completing his work shift at GHMC medical camp near tank bund. 

“I was walking with my daughter and suddenly GHMC truck started moving backward in rush, and left hand smashed into a pole rod,” said Srinivasan. 

The patient immediately shifted to Maxcure Hospital, Secretariat. In spite of traffic management there was no way left to carry the patient. 
“It took one hour for us to reach the hospital.” said victims wife G Shoba. 

Doctors at Maxcure Hospital said, “There were severe fractures in patients forearm and carpel bones were damaged.” 

Higher officials of GHMC were enquiring about the reasons which led to the incident.
