Metro to chug on Ameerpet - Hitech City stretch by year end
Metro operations between Ameerpet - Hitech City stretch will be commenced in late December this year.
The news was shared by the IT minister KT Rama Rao on his Twitter handle.

The traffic in the rush areas like Punjagutta, Jubilee Hills, Madhapur will be reduced once the operations began.
It is a known fact that people across the city head towards the software hub Hitech city and Madhapur covering up all the roads leading to the hub.
Meanwhile, the metro services between Ameerpet and LB Nagar has been inaugurated today by the governor ESL Narasimhan.
