TYA adopts eco-friendly method to immerse Ganesh idol

Malkajgiri: Talent Youth Association (TYA), Goutham Nagar of Malkajgiri in association with Megana Constructions installed 19-feet clay Ganesha idol. After performing special pujas, the residents poured milk on the idol. In an innovative eco-friendly manner, the Ganesh idol immersion was done at the locality only. Mohan Raj, the organiser said that water motors were used to immerse the 19-ft idol. 

Resident Mallikarjun bagged the laddu for Rs 75,000 during the auction. Mohan Raj, Srinivas Mudiraj, Dhan Raj, Sreedhar, Narender, Bharathi Sharma, Satish and others were present.
